We’re at work on a big picture blog post right now that details what happens from here in the Senate and the House. The House just moved its agriculture committee markup to July 11, so the situation has changed a bit, and as yet there is no firm timetable for conference. In addition, there’s still no guarantee that Congress will complete a farm bill at all this year – but we’re hoping they will.

Is there a place I can go to get a process update? I am really happy to see that the Senate is moving in the right direction, but where is the House in all this? What is the expected timetable for conference and completion at this point? I guess I am one of those who needs the big picture first for orienting myself, and then the details after.
