Organizer's Toolkit
Tools for grassroots organizing are basic building blocks to create strong organizations capable of changing power relations in this country. Elected officials and other decision makers listen to economic pressure, constituents and media attention—and grassroots organizing can be very effective in generating and focusing constituent and media pressure.
The National Campaign is dedicated to helping its partner organizations develop and expand their skills in education, involving and mobilizing as many people as we possibly can to support our mission, goals and collectively-determined policy priorities.
The information in our Organizer's Toolkit will provide ideas, practical how-to information, and further resources to build a powerful and inclusive organizing capacity.
Included here are tips for strengthening your organization, initiating effective issue campaigns, planning events and coalition building.
